General comments

Albendazol is geregistreerd voor kinderen vanaf 6 jaar. Bij kinderen tussen 1 en 6 jaar is albendazol wereldwijd uitvoering gebruikt en kan overwogen worden.

Albendazol is waarschijnlijk veilig tijdens zwangerschap (2e en 3e trimester) en borstvoeding (LAREB). 

Albendazol wordt beter geabsorbeerd bij inname met plantaardige vetten.
