General comments
Het toevoegen van aminoglycosiden wordt NIET aanbevolen
Onderhoudsdosering vancomycine afhankelijk van gemeten spiegels en van nierfunctie, zie bij vancomycine en bij TDM vancomycine
Behandelduur 14 dagen bij ongecompliceerde S. aureus bacteriëmie, bij gecompliceerde S. aureus bacteriëmie behandelduur 4-6 weken.
Bij S. aureus endocarditis flucloxacilline 12 gram/24h gedurende 6 weken.
