Comments:

Bij VZV meningitis/encephalitis gedurende 10-14 dagen. Bij HSV meningitis/encephalitis gedurende 14 dagen. Indien immuungecompromitteerd of bij onvolledig herstel verlengen naar 21 dagen.

Continue toediening alleen bij HSV/VZV meningitis/encephalitis indien toediening gaat plaatsvinden via OPAT (outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy). Dan altijd contact met het OPAT team op (023-530)7800. Bij continue toediening eenmalig na 24 uur aciclovir spiegel afnemen.

CAV / VVHD: oraal: 200-800 mg 3 dd. Intraveneus: standaarddosis elke 24 uur, op geleide van de concentratie
