General comments
Langdurig behandelen met gentamicine wordt afgeraden.
Ciprofloxacine alleen de gehele therapie oraal wordt gegeven. Niet bij patiënten die onder behandeling zijn bij de uroloog, of als patiënt in de afgelopen 6 maanden behandeld is met chinolonen.
Patiënten met in het afgelopen jaar infectie of kolonisatie met een ESBL: therapie op geleide resistentiepatroon
Behandelduur:
- Vrouwen die met ciprofloxacine behandeld worden: 7 dagen
- Alle andere behandelingen bij vrouwen: 10-14 dagen
- Alle behandelingen bij mannen: 14 dagen
Antibiotica altijd aanpassen op geleide van de kweek.
