General comments

matig-ernstige CAP: AMBU-65 2; PSI 3-4

Ook bij massale aspiratie volstaat i.h.a. amoxicilline of penicilline, tenzij langdurige hospitalisatie of fecaal braken.

Als een patiënt één of meer van de volgende risicofactoren heeft moet er < 24 uur een Legionella-urineantigeentest of Legionella PCR op respiratoir materiaal/nasopharynxwat verricht worden: 
1. Recent bezoek aan het buitenland 
2. tijdens een Legionella epidemie 
3. Onvoldoende verbetering na ≥ 48 uur behandeling met een beta-lactam antibioticum.
